Yes, design and production took place in the Czech Republic. The Frolen company, where towels are woven, has a production plant in Stárkov, in the Náchod district. However, cotton comes from various countries outside the EU.
The product is made of 100% cotton of the best quality, so they absorb water well. However, the fibres are new and, to 100% satisfaction, the towels need to be washed several times to allow the fibre to loosen and absorb water faster. This is a standard process for any new cloth.
They don’t let go. The new fibers from which the yarn is spun are 2-3 cm, so they do not break and thus this effect is prevented.
No, they are not, but they could be. There was an option to soak the products in a specific chemical solution that would brighten the colours. Furthermore, the towels could be so-called calendered to feel better to the touch and to sell well. However, they are beautiful and of high quality, as they were removed from the loom. Therefore, I did not see a reason for further adjustments. It is more ecological and more economical. In addition, the customer is not deceived.
Wipes are made of quality materials. If you wash them at a temperature of up to 60 degrees without bleaching (aggressive) detergents, they will definitely not release the paint. According to information from Frolen, nothing would happen even if the towels are wash at 90 degrees – again without aggressive detergents. However, this washing temperature is not recommended on the loop.
